NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Like father, like son– and daughter– and spouse.

The winningest school baseball coach in Louisiana, Delgado’s Joe Scheuermann, is surrounded by household at each residence recreation.

“We legitimately like one another,” says Scheuermann’s daughter, Nataly, “and we legitimately love being on the ballpark.”

At Kirsch-Rooney Stadium, Delgado Baseball’s residence subject, the household legacy started in 1972, with Delgado’s very first Head Baseball Coach, “Rags” Scheuermann– Joe Scheuermann’s father.

The crew was so profitable, that Rags Scheuermann was inducted into the Louisiana Sports activities Corridor of Fame in the identical 12 months that he retired, 1990. That is when Rags’ son, Joe, grew to become the coach, and began racking up extra wins.
