NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with Second Harvest are asking for neighborhood donations as they face the problem of a doable meals scarcity.

Second Harvest Meals Banks have been on a mission to finish starvation in South Louisiana for over 40 years by offering meals entry, advocacy, training and catastrophe response.

Reportedly, they’ve supplied meals for over 500 companions and packages making it the biggest anti-hunger community within the state.

Officers stated they’re now going through a “critical problem” as greater than 1.2 million meals is not going to attain households in want in South Louisiana.
