This week on Behind The Lens, a gaggle of protesters walked the St. Charles route forward of the Legion of Mars parade, which final 12 months featured armed ICE officers and an ICE tactical car that at one level blasted Vanilla Ice’s music, “Ice, Ice, Child.” The volunteers spent hours creating lots of of indicators, stickers and wallet-sized “know your rights” playing cards to clarify: ‘ICE in our drinks, not in our streets’ this Carnival.
