BOUTTE, La. (WGNO) — A Boutte man has been arrested following a drug investigation within the space that got here to a head on Thursday, April 24.

In line with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Workplace, detectives started investigating within the 200 block of Good Kids Road after receiving a drug grievance.

On scene, they reportedly discovered 36-year-old Vacarrin Diggs close to a truck. Diggs was already wished for drug-related crimes, and was positioned beneath arrest.

Through the arrest, investigators say they obtained most likely trigger to go looking the truck that Diggs was discovered close to. Inside, they reportedly discovered the next objects:

• A black Girsan 9mm semi-auto handgun.
• 73.14 grams of marijuana.
• Artificial marijuana.
• 21.36 grams of methamphetamine.

• 5.93 grams of cocaine.

• Possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
• Possession with intent to distribute artificial marijuana.
• Possession with intent to distribute MDMA.
• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Possession of a firearm within the presence of CDS.
• Fugitive warrants from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Workplace in addition to the Gretna and Westwego police departments.
