Xyere Brooks — a highschool soccer star in New Jersey — tragically misplaced his life all through a taking footage on Friday, authorities launched.

He was merely 16 years earlier.

In response to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, cops responded to a report of gunfire at a Camden residence … and positioned Brooks affected by a bullet wound.

Brooks was rushed to a close-by hospital … though, sadly, he succumbed to his accidents whereas there.

The prosecutor’s office acknowledged plenty of juveniles have been inside the dwelling on the time of the incident, and detectives are nonetheless trying to find out what occurred.

“No jail bills have been filed proper now,” the prosecutor’s office acknowledged. “This investigation is energetic and ongoing. No additional information is perhaps launched proper now.”

Brooks’ brother, Manazh Tompkins, suggested 6ABC the taking footage was a horrible accident.

“She put the gun to his head, and I suppose she didn’t rely on it to go off,” Tompkins acknowledged to the outlet. “To make a protracted story fast, the gun went off on my brother, and he’s not proper right here with us.”

Brooks, a sophomore, was a standout soccer participant at Kipp Extreme School … and had been receiving curiosity from school packages like Syracuse and Rutgers.

“Xyere was a supportive teammate and good good friend, a faithful pupil, and a standout on the soccer topic whose experience and dedication left a robust impression on all who knew him,” Kipp H.S. acknowledged in a press launch.

“We’re holding Xyere’s family, buddies, and all people who knew and beloved him in our hearts. 💙❤️.”
