Girl killed in head-on automobile crash in St. John the Baptist Parish
ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A lady was killed in a automobile crash on I-10 in St. John the Baptist Parish Tuesday, Sept. 23.
In keeping with the Louisiana State Police, the crash claimed the lifetime of 21-year-old Patricia Saidu of Baton Rouge and severely injured one other.
The LSP stated a GMC Yukon entered I-10 the mistaken manner from US 51 in Laplace and commenced touring east within the westbound lanes. A Nissan Altima was touring westbound on I-10. The GMC struck the Nissan head-on, inflicting each autos to catch hearth.
The driving force of the GMC suffered critical accidents and was transported to a neighborhood hospital. Saidu suffered critical accidents and died on the scene.
