NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – Grammy-nominated Americana powerhouse Hayes Carll and Gold-selling rock group The Band of Heathens have reunited for a self-titled album. Branded as Hayes & The Heathens, the eponymous debut shall be out there on October 4.

Along with the brand new authentic songs, the boys put their distinctive spin on The Proclaimers’ 1988 hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” for the self-titled album.

The October 4 album launch date is critical. Hayes & The Heathens will launch their inaugural music competition, All people’s Someone Fest, in Luckenbach, Texas, the next day.
