HARVEY, La. (WGNO) — A person has been arrested following a murder by stabbing that occurred in Harvey on Thursday, Jan. 23.
In response to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies responded to a house within the 1900 block of Estalote Avenue on report of a stabbing.
On scene, they reportedly discovered a person outdoors of the residence who appeared to have been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital the place he was later pronounced lifeless.
An investigation led to 71-year-old Walter Inexperienced Jr. being suspected of committing the stabbing throughout an altercation. He was arrested and brought to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Middle.
Inexperienced was initially charged with aggravated battery, however after the sufferer was pronounced lifeless, Inexperienced’s cost was upgraded to manslaughter.
