A Slidell man has been arrested after he was in possession of illegally obtained tapentadol capsules. Deputies performed a search of a house within the 3700 block of Riviera Drive in Slidell on Could 8. Within the residence, they discovered 392 unlawfully possessed tapentadol capsules, 43 capsules containing methamphetamine, packed for distribution, 6.1 grams of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. Vincent Parker, 20, of Slidell was arrested and is being charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (tapentadol), possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. As a part of the investigation, Broderika Encalade, 40, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
