Two lifeless following Tangipahoa Parish crashes



TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Two individuals are lifeless following separate crashes that occurred in Tangipahoa Parish on Friday, April 4.

In response to the Louisiana State Police, troopers with Troop L started investigating the primary crash, which occurred on LA Freeway 442 close to Duhe Street, round 6 p.m.

Troopers say 34-year-old Jonathan Shroeder, of Independence, was driving a 2007 Toyota Avalon east when for causes being investigated, he ran off the suitable aspect of the street and hit a number of timber. He was unrestrained on the time and was taken to a neighborhood hospital, the place he later died.

A toxicology pattern was taken from Shroeder as a part of the continued investigation.

The second crash, which occurred on Interstate 55 close to LA Freeway 3234, was reported round 11 p.m.

The preliminary investigation reveals {that a} 2019 Nissan Pathfinder was heading north on the interstate when 60-year-old William Traylor, a pedestrian, entered the street and was hit.

Traylor was pronounced lifeless on scene. The Nissan’s driver was correctly restrained and brought to a neighborhood hospital with minor accidents. Routine toxicology samples had been taken from each people as a part of the continued investigation.
