HARAHAN, La. (WGNO) — A person is lifeless after he was concerned in a deadly crash in Harahan whereas driving an electrical scooter within the early morning hours of Friday, July 18.
In response to the Louisiana State Police, troopers with Troop B started investigating the crash, which occurred on Dickory Avenue close to Citrus Boulevard, round 2:30 a.m.
Investigators say that 32-year-old Christopher Harris, of Harahan, was turning out of a parking zone into the southbound lane of Dickory Avenue when a 2025 Honda CR-V, for causes that are being investigated, hit the scooter.
Harris, who wasn’t carrying a helmet on the time of the crash, was taken to an area hospital for remedy the place he later died on account of his accidents.
The driving force of the CR-V was reportedly not impaired. The crash stays beneath investigation.
