TOWARDS THE LAKE, BUT GOING TO MOVE THE MAP A LITTLE BIT FURTHER EASTWARD AND SHOW YOU WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE TROPICS, BECAUSE THIS IS HURRICANE IMELDA AND YOU CAN SEE IT IS HAMMERING BERMUDA RIGHT NOW WITH STRONG HURRICANE FORCE WINDS, STORM SURGE, AND OF COURSE, HEAVY RAIN LEADING TO FLASH FLOODING. SO THIS IS ALL MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST NORTHEAST VERY QUICKLY AT 29 MILES AN HOUR. SO LUCKILY FOR BERMUDA, THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY QUICK EVENT FOR THEM. WINDS AT 100 MILES AN HOUR. SO THAT MAKES IT A CATEGORY TWO HURRICANE. THERE’S THE FORECAST TRACK MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST NORTHEAST AND EVENTUALLY TURNING TO WHAT’S CALLED A POST-TROPICAL SYSTEM LATER THIS WEEK. MEANING? MEANING THAT IT’S LOSING ITS TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS. NEED TO BECOME A TROPICAL CYCLONE. AND THEN YOU CAN SEE THAT NORTHERLY TURN OUT TO SEA BY THE END OF THIS WEEKEND. HEADING INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK, HURRICANE WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE ISLAND OF BERMUDA, AS THEY’RE STILL EXPERIENCING HURRICANE CONDITIONS RIGHT NOW AS THE SYSTEM IS MOVING ON BY ELSEWHERE IN THE TROPICS. SO WE HAVE A NEW SYSTEM THAT’S EXPECTED TO EMERGE OFF THE WEST COAST OF AFRICA IN ABOUT A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS GIVING THIS A LOW CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT. AROUND 20% CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAY

CENTRAL TROPICAL ATLANTIC:A tropical wave is anticipated to maneuver off the coast of Africa over the subsequent day or two. Thereafter, this wave is forecast to work together with one other disturbance within the jap tropical Atlantic, and a few sluggish growth of the mixed characteristic is feasible because the system strikes westward to west-northwestward at 15 to twenty mph.WHAT WE KNOW:Probability of growth over the subsequent 2 days: Low, 0%.Probability of growth over the subsequent 3-7 days: Low, 20%.IMPACTS:None at the moment.
