Murder investigation underway after man discovered lifeless in Algiers
ALGIERS, La. (WGNO) — A person is lifeless following a taking pictures in an Algiers neighborhood, in accordance with the New Orleans Police Division.
NOPD officers report that at 7:18 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, they have been known as to the 3700 block of Texas Drive on a report of an unresponsive man on the scene.
Upon arrival, officers situated that man and EMS declared him lifeless on the scene classifying the crime as an unclassified dying.
The incident was later reclassified to a murder investigation after the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Workplace found the person had suffered a gunshot wound.
No additional particulars can be found right now. The NOPD is within the strategy of gathering proof and data to find out a potential suspect and motive.
