New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell travels to Mexico to take part in 'premier summit'
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is touring to Mexico to participate within the Bloomberg CityLab 2024 summit.
Metropolis officers stated Cantrell will be part of different mayors from the world over in Mexico Metropolis for a summit that may focus on “cutting-edge options for city challenges.”
The mayor will take part in discussions about political, environmental and technological challenges that cities face together with matters like local weather resilience, infrastructure and concrete innovation.
Metropolis leaders stated Cantrell may also take part in a “mayors-only discussion board” to debate metropolis points with different attending mayors.
Based on the town, Cantrell left New Orleans on Oct. 13 and can go to excessive colleges and universities when she returns.
