One useless, two injured in crash on St. Bernard Avenue at Interstate 10 off-ramp



JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Workplace are investigating a crash that left one individual useless and two individuals injured close to the Jefferson-Orleans parish line on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

In response to the JPSO, deputies responded to a report of shoplifting involving a bunch of girls at Lakeside Mall when an off-duty deputy noticed them leaving the world in a pink SUV.

JPSO officers stated deputies then started to pursue the SUV on Interstate 10 East after receiving a notification from the off-duty deputy however referred to as off the chase after lower than a minute after a supervisor directed them to.

As deputies turned off their overhead lights and started to exit I-10 on the St. Bernard Avenue exit off-ramp, they reportedly noticed that the SUV was concerned in a crash, prompting the New Orleans Police Division and EMS to be referred to as to the scene.

Three ladies within the SUV allegedly ran from the scene and one was taken into custody after deputies discovered her within the space.

In response to the JPSO, the SUV hit one other automobile.

One individual within the automobile hit by the SUV suffered deadly accidents and was pronounced useless on the scene. Two different individuals within the automotive have been taken to a hospital for remedy.
