CHICAGO In a shock transfer, Chicago’s long-running Riot Fest introduced plans to relocate to Chicago’s Douglass Park after beforehand saying a transfer to Seatgeek Stadium within the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview.
Riot Fest organizers introduced the transfer in a press release on Wednesday:

The transfer again to downtown Chicago comes simply two months after competition co-founder Mike “Riot Mike” Petryshyn introduced plans to maneuver the competition to SeatGeek, citing challenges in acquiring permits for the competition from Chicago metropolis officers.
