Parish President Mike Cooper joined council members for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the enhanced facility within the Covington-Madisonville space, highlighting the administration’s broader push to modernize utilities throughout the parish.

The upgraded carry station serves as a regional sewer pump, accumulating wastewater from neighborhoods alongside Brewster Street, Freeway 21 and Freeway 1077 and transporting it to the West St. Tammany Regional Wastewater Therapy Plant.
