MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — A Slidell man accused of trespassing a Mandeville residence and attacking the owners has been arrested.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Workplace reported that deputies responded to a name of a taking pictures at a house within the 1200 block of Dove Park Street round 9 a.m. on Monday, July 29.

On the scene, STPSO deputies discovered a person, recognized by the STPSO as Careyunius Smith, who had been shot in his abdomen. He was taken to a hospital for remedy.

STPSO officers mentioned an investigation revealed that Smith was allegedly trespassing on the property and was not recognized by the owners.

Investigators with the STPSO mentioned one home-owner got here into contact with Smith exterior the home close to the storage to attempt to discover out why Smith was on their property. Smith allegedly started attacking the home-owner, who then referred to as for the second home-owner.
