New Orleans Police Division hosts Espresso with a Cop to satisfy group


NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Division is making strides to get out locally and meet the folks they serve.

They’re doing so with an occasion on Wednesday, Oct.2 known as “Espresso with a Cop”.

It offers the general public a possibility to satisfy the group and provides officers an opportunity to reply questions they could have.

At a time when the variety of NOPD officers is low, officers say they’ll benefit from this chance to recruit extra officers.

“At all times a possibility for recruitment,” stated Sergeant Shannon Brewer with the NOPD. “We would like our officers to exit locally, speak about legislation enforcement, speak concerning the New Orleans Police Division. It is a fantastic place to work, so we wish the group to all the time be capable of see us and this is a wonderful recruitment alternative for us.”
