SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A Slidell couple has been arrested in reference to a multi-jurisdictional drug investigation.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Workplace reported that detectives labored with Homeland Safety Investigations and the Louisiana State Police on a 6-week-long investigation that ended on Friday, Nov. 15.
In the course of the investigation, STPSO detectives stated they discovered that 42-year-old Jerry Darby was allegedly distributing cocaine and fentanyl in Slidell and New Orleans.
Darby reportedly lived with 34-year-old Andrea Richardson within the 5900 block of Pier Park Avenue in Slidell and is accused of promoting medication within the space in addition to from two New Orleans houses within the 2700 block of Edge Road.
STPSO officers stated LSP detectives, Troop NOLA troopers and HSI brokers searched the 2 New Orleans houses and a rental automobile on Friday, the place detectives stated they recovered greater than 500 grams of fentanyl, paraphernalia “related to the large-scale packaging and distribution of medication” and a gun.
