Picayune man dies in Pearl River County crash: Mississippi officers



PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WGNO) — A person is lifeless after a crash on a Mississippi interstate.

In response to the Mississippi Freeway Patrol, round 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, troopers responded to the crash scene on Interstate 59 in Pearl River County.

An investigation revealed that 66-year-old Nathan Boone was headed north on the interstate in a Chevy Camero simply as 74-year-old William Baker was headed south in a Volvo semi-truck.

Troopers reported Boone crossed over the median colliding with Baker.

Boone suffered deadly accidents and was pronounced lifeless on the scene. Troopers didn’t say if Baker was injured.
